Maintenance

Glazed Zellige tiles do not require sealing. Natural terracotta tiles require sealing as per your preferred sealer manufacturer’s recommendations.

-Authentic Moroccan Zellige tiles are handmade using traditional techniques, meaning variation in colour, shade, size, texture and surface imperfections such as pits, cracks and chipped edges are natural characteristics of the product and part of its charm.

-Size: Actual tile dimensions may vary slightly due to the handmade nature of the product.

-Batching: Colour and tonal variation may occur between batches. Please contact us when re-ordering to ensure batch consistency.

-Samples: Website imagery is indicative only. We recommend viewing samples or visiting our showroom to appreciate the natural variation and handmade finish.

Design Tiles always recommends ordering an additional 10-15% on top of your order to allow for wastage. For larger format tiles like 600x1200mm, 750x1500mm, 900x1800mm or larger please allow for 20% extra waste. Some rooms will require more cuts which generally means more wastage. Always confirm your quantities with your builder or tiler before proceeding with your order. Also, if you are purchasing tiles that are discontinued or on clearance its always worth buying extra as that tile, or batch of tiles may no longer be available from the manufacturer if you need to cover wastage.
