How We Helped Design 7 Breathtaking Bathrooms in This Burraneer Home

By 25 July 2025No Comments

We recently had the absolute pleasure of working with one of our lovely clients, Larissa, as she built her dream home in beautiful Burraneer. This multilevel masterpiece is filled with thoughtful design details, luxurious finishes, and no less than seven unique bathrooms – each with its own personality and story.

Let’s take you on a tour of this showstopping home.

The Guest Bathroom: A Green Oasis to Impress

Every guest who steps into this space will be left in awe. Larissa created a true statement in her guest bathroom by choosing: Rubik Sage Green  for the vanity and shower feature wall – a tile that celebrates tonal variations and different shades of sage green. This perfectly complements the green timber vanity, Nood Co concrete basin, and brushed brass tapware.

For the back shower feature wall, she selected our Coogee White Matt 75×300 subway tile, laid in a clean vertical straight stack.

Above the bath, Larissa opted for two sizes of Rice Natural (50×150 and 150×150), layering textures and tones for an elevated finish.

The result? A showstopper bathroom that feels both inviting and luxurious – setting the tone for the rest of the home.

A Custom Mosaic for the Bar Splashback

Near the powder room, Larissa wanted something truly unique for her bar splashback. She fell in love with two completely different mosaics and envisioned bringing them together with brass detailing. To make her vision a reality, we worked with our overseas artisans to create a custom natural stone mosaic, featuring striking arch-shaped green tiles with elegant brass inlays for a touch of glam.

This bespoke piece proves that yes – we can customize natural stone mosaics just for you. A one-of-a-kind feature that’s now the ultimate conversation starter in her home.

Powder Rooms & Ensuites: Sophistication at Every Turn

Upstairs Powder Room

Bianco Chiario 610x610mm tiles grace the walls and floors, creating a timeless canvas. Behind the vanity, matching 75×305 subway tiles are laid vertically straight stacked for a subtle yet refined detail.

Ensuite Bathroom

Next to the powder room, her ensuite carries the same beautiful Bianco Chiario. Walls wrapped in the large format tile for a seamless look, the floors featuring the matching subway tiles laid in a herringbone pattern with gold tapware and breathtaking views over Burraneer Bay complete this serene retreat.

Daughter’s Bathroom: A Fresh, Playful Vibe

For one of her daughter’s bathrooms, Larissa selected the Manual Menta Gloss 75x150mm Spanish subway tile. Laid vertically, it brings a fresh, playful energy to the space.

– Paired with our best-selling Opera White tile, this bathroom is light, bright, and perfect for a younger family member.

Second Powder Room: Timeless Natural Stone

For her second powder room, Larissa chose the elegant Nimbus White 610x610mm natural stone tiles for the walls, paired with a matching herringbone floor.

While the herringbone is now discontinued, the look can be beautifully replicated using the subway version in 75x305mm, still available in our range.

A Home Where Every Detail Tells a Story

From bold mosaics to custom stone features, Larissa’s Burraneer home is a perfect example of how thoughtful tile selections can transform a house into a dream home.
